Byers Hall and Genentech Hall are the newest buildings that will gain central receiving for hazardous items through ChemCentral Receiving. The receiving location can be found in Room N101, and this will also serve as the pick up location for any packages received through us.
To gain access to the stockroom, you can fill out our SmartSheet form and we will be able to grant access within 24 hours. You can also find the Hitachi Door access code on our Byers Hall and Genetech Hall location page.
Our receiving services will be in effect January 21, 2025! We will begin our receiving services for both buildings. This also means any purchases for items deemed as hazardous material through BearBuy will be rerouted directly to our stockroom address. From there, we will receive the item for you, detrash and toss all excess packaging material (not including packing slips or any SDS/shipping forms), and inventory the item with an RFID tag through Chemicals.
